- Keep the area clean and dry.
- Wear supportive underwear.
- Stay hydrated.
Avoid for 3–5 Days
- Sexual activity
- Strenuous exercise
- Heavy lifting
- Biking or horse riding
- Aspirin, NSAIDs, and alcohol
Hygiene Care
- Keep the area clean and dry.
- Use gentle cleansing only.
- Avoid harsh soaps, lotions, or fragrances.
- Do not submerge in water (baths, hot tubs, pools) for 3–5 days.
- Wear loose, breathable clothing.
These restrictions help prevent increased swelling, irritation and bruising.
