- Use gentle cleanser and moisturizer.
- Keep skin hydrated.
- Avoid touching or picking.
Avoid for 48–72 Hours
- Strenuous exercise
- Excessive sweating
- Saunas
- Hot tubs
- Steam rooms
- Swimming pools
- Hot showers
Skin Care Restrictions
- Avoid until fully healed: retinoids/Retin-A, exfoliants, glycolic acids, irritating vitamin C, scrubs, harsh actives.
- Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours or as directed; mineral makeup is preferred when restarting.
Sun Protection & Recovery
- Avoid direct sun exposure.
- Wear SPF 30+ daily.
- Avoid tanning beds and self-tanner.
- Use gentle hydrating products and stay hydrated.
- Use cool compresses if needed.
Heat can worsen swelling and irritation while you heal.
