- Use gentle cleanser and moisturizer.
- Avoid touching or scratching treated areas.
Pigmented Spots — “Coffee Grounds”
- Brown spots may darken temporarily before flaking off naturally.
- Do not pick or scrub.
Avoid for Several Days
- Strenuous exercise
- Excessive sweating
- Saunas
- Hot tubs
- Steam rooms
- Swimming pools
Skin Care & Sun Protection
- Avoid until healed: retinoids/Retin-A, exfoliants, glycolic acids, scrubs, harsh actives.
- Avoid direct sun exposure.
- Wear SPF 30+ daily and reapply frequently.
- Avoid tanning beds and self-tanner.
- Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours if skin is intact; mineral makeup is preferred.
