- Apply a cool compress as needed.
- Stay hydrated.
Avoid for 3–5 Days
- Hot baths, saunas, and steam rooms
- Swimming
- Strenuous exercise
- Alcohol and excessive caffeine
Hair & Scalp Care
- Use gentle, fragrance-free cleansers.
- Avoid actives such as retinol, acids, and exfoliants for 3–5 days.
- No harsh scrubs or aggressive products.
- Moisturize daily to support the skin barrier.
Sun Protection & Tips
- Avoid direct sun exposure for 7 days.
- Wear SPF 30+ daily.
- Use protective clothing and a hat.
- Drink plenty of water and follow your provider’s treatment plan.
